ATTORNEY GENERAL MARTHA COAKLEY TO ANNOUNCE $102 MILLION SETTLEMENT WITH LARGE NATIONAL INVESTMENT BANK
Attorney General Martha Coakley’s Office will hold a press conference today to announce a $102 million settlement with a large national investment bank resolving allegations that it financed and securitized unfair residential loans that contributed to the housing crash in Massachusetts.
This settlement is part of an ongoing investigation by Attorney General Coakley’s Office into the securitization of subprime loans. Last year, the Attorney General reached a similar agreement LINK with Goldman Sachs.
