Korean War Memorial to host a Flag retirement Ceremony on Flag Day, June 14, 2010 at 12 PM
Francis R. Carroll, Activities Chairman of the Korean War Memorial of Central Mass, Inc. has announced a flag retirement ceremony will be held at the Korean War Memorial site on Flag Day.

Please bring you old and tattered American flags for disposal.

In partnership with the Nam Knights of America M/C Central MA, the committee will conduct the ritualistic ceremony and the burning of flags. The event, coordinated with the Parks and Recreation Department, will begin at 12PM and last for about one hour. Captain Daniel J. Brennock, USN (Ret.) will lead the ceremony and cadets from the US Navy JROTC detachment at Quabbin Regional High School will provide a color guard.
