The series of presentations about refugee populations in Worcester
begins Monday, April 26th at 3:00 at the New Citizens Center. There are a
few spaces left for the first presentation about refugees from Iraq. If
you have not signed up and are interested in attending, please RSVP by
the end of the day on Thursday.

Great Brook Valley Health Center in collaboration with the New Citizens Center, MA Office of Refugees and Immigrants and MA Department of Public Health invite agencies working with refugees to attend:

Presentations about the cultures and experiences of our newest community members from Bhutan, Iraq and Burma

Please don’t miss this opportunity to learn about the history, culture, experiences, health beliefs and practices of refugees from Iraq, Bhutan and Burma

Great Brook Valley Health Center (GBVHC) is a community health center providing comprehensive, high quality health care since 1972. Services include medical, mental health, dental and social services. GBVHC is a provider of the Massachusetts Refugee Health Assessment Program, Massachusetts Refugee Preventive Health Program and Office of Refugee Resettlement Supplemental Services for Recently Arrived Refugees. This program is funded by Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Office of Refugee Resettlement.
